Andreas Schulz began his off-road rallying career as mechanic to later become one of the sport’s best co-drivers. Twice, in 2001 and 2003, the Bavarian won the Dakar Rally. He has been a regular competitor in the planet’s most significant off-road rallies since the 1980s and has worked as navigator for numerous renowned drivers, such as Jutta Kleinschmidt, Carlos Sainz, Hiroshi Masuoka, Andrea Mayer, Carlos Sousa and now Leonid Novitskiy.
Novitskiy and Schulz cooperated consistently from the 2009 Rally Morocco. In 2010 and 2011, they won the FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup. For the 2012 World Cup season, Schulz will be teamed up with Khalifa Al Mutaiwei.
