Stéphane Peterhansel is the most successful driver in the history of the Dakar Rally.
He won the event’s motorbike competition six times – to switch to four wheels in 1999 and continue his streak of success. Together with his compatriot Jean-Paul Cottret, Peterhansel celebrated four overall wins in the Dakar. He made his first appearance as Team X-raid driver in the 2009 Baja Spain. In the 2010 and 2011 editions of the Dakar Rally he finished fourth and in 2012, he won the event at the wheel of the MINI ALL 4 Racing – thus celebrating his 10th Dakar win!
The Frenchman also hast got two World Enduro Championship titles under his belt and competed in the 2005 and 2006 editions of the Race Of Champions. And don’t forget his French Skateboard Championship title.
