Italian Baja: MINI JCW Rally 3.0i impresses despite early setback

- Strong individual stage results on Saturday
X-raid completed the fourth round of both the FIA World Baja Cup and the FIA European Baja Cup at the Italian Baja. Denis Krotov and Konstantin Zhiltsov competed in the MINI JCW Rally 3.0i and secured 8th place in the Ultimate category (23rd overall). Despite a technical setback on the first day, they delivered a strong performance during Sunday’s special stages.
A brake issue forced the duo to retire early from the first stage and miss the second stage as well. However, Krotov and Zhiltsov returned determined on Saturday, proving their competitiveness with individual stage results of fifth, fourth, and twelfth. Due to the penalty time from the missed stages, they ultimately finished 23rd in the overall classification.
The X-raid team will compete in the Baja Aragon in a few weeks. The driver lineup will be announced shortly.
