Jordan Baja: Sensational third place for the Baud family

Just a few weeks after the Dakar Rally, Lionel and Lucie Baud have once again caught the spotlight. The father-daughter duo secured a very strong third place overall in their MINI JCW Rally 3.0d.
With only two special stages, the Jordan Baja left no room for error. Following a successful prologue on Thursday, which did not count towards the overall standings, they really turned up the heat on Friday. Lionel and Lucie Baud were unstoppable and secured the stage win – finishing ahead of reigning Dakar champion Nasser Al-Attiyah. This marked the first stage victory for the French pair in the FIA World Baja Cup.
As winners of the previous day, they had the challenge of opening the final stage on Saturday. Despite this, they maintained a fast pace. Unfortunately, a stop due to a puncture cost them several vital minutes. However, they continued to attack for the remainder of the stage and successfully secured the final spot on the podium.
After being transported directly to Jordan following the Dakar Rally, the desert racer is now returning to Trebur, where the other X-raid rally cars and service vehicles are already stationed.
