Baja TT Extremadura: First FIA podium for the X-raid YXZ1000R Turbo Prototype

- Joao Ferreira secures second place in the T3 class
- Technical problems delay announcement of results
It is the next milestone in the successful history of the X-raid YXZ1000R Turbo Prototye Side-by-Sides: the first podium finish in an FIA event. Joao Ferreira and Filipe Palmeiro finished second in the T3 classification at the Baja TT Dehesa Extremadura (14th – 16th April 2023), the first round of the FIA European Cup for Cross-Country-Bajas. In the overall standings, they finished the Baja in position five.
Due to technical problems, the announcement of the official results of the Baja TT Deshesa Extremadura was delayed. In addition, there were numerous time penalties that had to be taken into account.
Joao Ferreira: “I really enjoyed the race. Yesterday was very difficult for us, but today it went much better. We are able to push, so I am very happy with second place in the T3 class. A big thank you to the whole X-raid team for all their hard work.”
