No fear of rough terrain: underride guard for MINI Countryman

Off-road fans and city adventurers who don’t want to do without their MINI Countryman can look forward to a new feature. X-raid and SGS 4×4 have worked together to develop an underride guard for the Countryman F60. In recent years, X-raid has used the MINI Countryman as a support vehicle in the Dakar Rally. This experience has been incorporated into the development of the underride guard. With this underguard, the engine and gearbox are optimally protected on a wide variety of adventures.
Made from 4 mm thick aluminium, the underride guard guarantees high resistance to stone chipping and other stresses. Weighing just 8.3 kg, it only increases the vehicle weight slightly. The ground clearance hardly changes either. The protection has been optimised in close cooperation between X-raid and SGS 4×4 especially for the All4 model variants for vehicles with manual or automatic transmission. This ensures a perfect fit and effective protection. The underride guard can be installed by the customer himself.
This new development expands X-raid’s extensive range of products for the MINI Countryman powered by X-raid. The project is based on the experience gained with the service vehicles and racing cars used by X-raid in the legendary Dakar Rally. Adventurers were able to make their Countryman fit for off-road terrain with the lift kit and special off-road rims and tyres. The underride guard complements this range perfectly. Poor roads and forest tracks are no longer a problem. It is available from today in the X-raid webshop at dakarshop.de and at sgs4x4.de.
