What a weekend! Two titles for the X-raid MINI JCW Rally Plus

The winning streak of the X-raid MINI JCW Rally Plus continues and reached its peak this weekend: two titles were won by the rally car developed and built by X-raid. João Ferreira and Filipe Palmeiro secured the title in the Portuguese Off-road Championship. Michal Maluszynski and Julita Maluszynska won the Polish Championship.
Ferreira and the MINI JCW Rally Plus are unstoppable this year. The Portuguese driver already won the FIA European Baja Cup a few weeks ago. However, this is still subject to official confirmation by the FIA, which will take place at the beginning of December. He has now secured the title in his home championship. In the Baja Oeste de Portugal, a third-place finish was enough for him to collect enough points for the overall victory. The track characteristics did not make it easy for the T1+ category vehicles to compete against the smaller side-by-sides. The MINI JCW Rally Plus was the only T1+ vehicle in the top eight. Jose Garcia and Samantha Montiel finished the Baja in 15th place in the MINI JCW Rally and thus won the T1 classification.
This weekend was a successful one in more ways than one. Yesterday, Michal Maluszynski and Julita Maluszynska took second place in the MINI JCW Rally Plus in the final round of the Polish Off-Road Championship. The points were enough to take the first place in the standings – with just a one-point lead. This means that they have secured the title, although official confirmation is still pending.
