CHANGES CROSS-COUNTRY RALLY SPORTING REGULATIONS

Art. 8.7 of the Cross-Country-Rally Sporting Regulations:

 

8.7 ASO “DAKAR” VEHICLES

8.7.1 A vehicle complying with the Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) regulations may be accepted in Group T4 until 30.06.2021, on condition that the competitor provides evidence that his vehicle is recognised by the ASO. The vehicle must bear a safety inspection seal in accordance with the relevant articles of the regulations of this organization.

8.7.2 The eligibility of the vehicle shall be subject to the approval, to be obtained in advance, of the FIA. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure such approval is applied for in writing before the FIA Technical Working Group meeting preceding the first FIA rally in which the competitor wishes to take part.

8.7.3 All safety equipment must be homologated and/or in conformity with the FIA regulations, except the roll cage, which must comply with the ASO regulations.
