Joan Nani Roma was taken to a hospital in Lima after his accident at the end of yesterday’s third stage of the Dakar in 2018. There, no bone fractures were found in Roma. He stayed in the hospital for observation. His co-driver Alex Haro remained unharmed in the accident.
“We are glad that Nani is doing well so far,“ says team manager Sven Quandt, “and that Alex has remained unharmed. Both were highly motivated and had set their sights high for this Dakar. It’s another piece of bad news for the team, and we’re hoping that bad luck has now left us.”
